GLASS SCRATCH REPAIR
Surface Glass Scratches
Light surface scratches on glass are commonly caused by abrasive cleaning pads, dust or debris during washing, or contact with hard materials.
Deep Glass Scratches
Deep scratches in glass can occur from construction debris, abrasive cleaning tools, or impact with hard objects
Scratched Storefront Glass
Storefront glass is frequently scratched by cleaning equipment, construction activity or vandalism.
Environmental Glass Damage
Hard Water Stains
Mineral deposits from sprinklers or runoff bond to the glass over time, creating cloudy or chalky stains that continue to worsen.
Screen Burn
Hazy, etched, or cloudy discoloration caused by aluminum screen oxidation (a gray, powdery residue) transferring to the glass over time, which cannot be removed by standard cleaning.
Heat Haze
Prolonged exposure to heat causes microscopic surface distortion in the glass resulting in a hazy or dull appearance.
Dog or Pet Scratch Damage
Scratches on glass from dog or pets nails repeatedly contacting glass doors. We can restore sliding glass doors, aquarium glass and animal enclosures.
Construction and cleaning damage
Abrasive Cleaning Damage
Improper cleaning tools or gritty debris can scratch glass during routine cleaning, leaving fine swirl marks that degrade clarity.
Deep Scratches
Heavier contact from tools, debris, or equipment cut deep scratches into glass surface, reducing structural integrity.
Impact Chipping
Small chips caused by impact on glass by small objects. Due to its depth, we work to blend and hide it while removing any stress points that could lead to other issues.
GLASS DAMAGED BY VANDALISM SUCH AS ACID ETCH GRAFFITI AND SCRATCH GRAFFITI CAN ALSO BE RESTORED AND REPAIRED.

WHEN REPLACEMENT IS UNAVOIDABLE
While most etched and scratched glass can be successfully restored, there are cases where replacement may be the more practical option. If glass is affected by a combination of large-area acid etching and deep scratch graffiti, especially when the damage is extensive, aggressive, or located close to edges, restoration may require excessive material removal. In these situations, restoration can become less cost-effective or may compromise the structural integrity or visual uniformity of the glass. When this occurs, we’ll clearly explain your options and help you determine whether restoration or replacement makes the most sense.
