HOW WE RESTORE OR REPAIR DAMAGED GLASS
Step 1 – Grind Out the Damage
To remove damage or repair scratches in glass we must grind the glass down beyond the damage. This process can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 3 hours depending on the depth and size of the damage.
Step 2 – Pre Polish and Smooth
Once the damaged layers of glass have been removed, we expand the work area and smooth the surface to ensure minimal optical distortion. This process prepares the surface for the final polishing stage.
Step 3 – Polishing
After we have pre polished and refined the area, we expand the work area again polishing it back to full transparency.
