How long does glass restoration take??

Glass restoration time can vary depending on a number of factors such as size and depth of damage. Most glass restoration jobs for a single pane of glass can be completed in one visit over the course of 3-5 hours. Not only is it less expensive than replacement, it is also much faster!

Can glass with scratches be repaired?

Yes, it can really be repaired. By grinding the glass down to the deepest point of damage and expanding the work area outward, we can restore integrity and functionality back to the glass with minimal optical distortion.

Does this process also work on mirrors?

Yes, we can also restore damaged mirrors with scratches, acid etch or other damage depending on the thickness of the mirror glass. The process is the same, only longer.

Can you fix scratches in my glass from my dog or pet?

Yes! Light, moderate and even deep scratches from pets nails repeatedly contacting glass can be removed using our professional glass restoration and polishing techniques.

How much does it cost?

We take a number of factors under consideration when pricing glass restoration, such as size, depth and location of the damage. Our pricing begins at $300. Scratches tend to be more costly when depth of the damage becomes more severe and typically begins at $350.

SOAP SCUM AND SURFACE BUILDUP

Issue:
Soapy residue, body oils and mineral deposits combine to create a stubborn film on shower glass. Regular cleaning may remove some buildup while leaving behind a dull or cloudy appearance.

Resolution:
After thoroughly cleaning the glass we use specialized compounds and polishing techniques to restore full clarity back to your shower glass.

CLOUDY OR DULL SHOWER GLASS

Issue:
Older shower enclosures can gradually lose their clarity and develop a cloudy or dull appearance from years of exposure.

OUR GLASS RESTORATION PROCESS

Proven and effective

We follow a proven, step by step process to ensure fast, safe and effective results

1 – Damage Assessment

We inspect the glass in person to evaluate the type and thickness of the glass, along with the depth, size, location and height of damage. This assessment allows up to determine the severity of the issue and the safest restoration approach.

2 – Technique Confirmation and Estimate

Based on this assessment we confirm whether full restoration is feasible, determine tools and materials required and provide a detailed written proposal outlining recommended solution and cost.

3 – Immediate Scheduling

Once approved, we schedule your job promptly. Most graffiti removals are scheduled early morning to minimize disruption and for safety.

4 – Restoration and Cleanup

Restoration work is completed on site with minimal disruption using surface safe techniques. Upon completion the glass is thoroughly cleaned and inspected to ensure the glass is left clear, smooth and free of distortion.

HOW WE REMOVE IMPURITIES AND RESTORE YOUR SHOWER ENCLOSURE GLASS.

Step 1 – Thorough Surface Cleaning

We thoroughly clean the glass to remove dirt, soap residue, and surface contaminants before treating the mineral deposits.

Step 2 – Deposit Removal

We use professional grade compounds specifically designed to break down and remove hard water and mineral deposits.

Step 3 – Final Polishing

After the deposits have been removed, we perform a thorough final polish to refine the surface and restore clarity and a clean uniform appearance.

IF THE SURFACE HAS BEEN ETCHED

When hard water deposits have been left untreated, minerals can permanently etch into the glass. In these cases the above steps alone will not restore the surface, we need to grind the etch out.

Step 1 – Grind

Remove damaged layer of glass using controlled abrasive techniques.

Step 2 – Refine

Progressively refine the surface to eliminate grinding marks and begin to restore clarity.

Step 3 – Polish

Finish with a professional glass polishing process to restore full clarity and functionality of the glass.
